THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD Trailer Should Tide You Over Until DEADPOOL 2 Comes Out

Just off the top, what follows is the red band trailer for a new movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel Jackson. It is called The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and it is absolutely filled with a lot of bad language. No boobs, no blood. Just plenty of swearing, so be warned:

This is fun. I have no idea how good the actual movie will be, but there’s a lot to say about these two actors just fucking yelling at each other for two minutes. Reynolds kind of only has this one speed, so it’s not too hard to just imagine this as a Deadpool movie, minus the costume but plus one Samuel L. Jackson. I dunno, maybe not the worst trade.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard comes out August 18, right in time for us to all be super sick of PG-13 superhero movies. If you need extra sweetener, it also stars Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek and Richard E. Grant.
