Telltale’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Game Gets A Spiffy New Trailer

Telltale Games has released a brand-new trailer for their Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series, and it looks just about as fun, colorful and packed with adventure as you could possibly hope for. Hell, they've even got Thanos in there, mixing it up with our heroes.

Here's an official plot synopsis, in case that matters to ya:

"Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series delivers a brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest heroes, the rag-tag band of outlaws who go by the names Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of the Guardians has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands. From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, and set to the beat of awesome music, this five-part episodic series puts you in the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure, told in the unique and award-winning Telltale style, where your decisions and actions will drive the path of the story you experience.”

All that sounds great, but - on a personal note - I have never once been able to get into one of this studio's games. I also recognize that I'm in the minority on this one. Chances are, those of you who do enjoy Telltale's brand of adventure gaming have much to look forward to. I wish I could join you!

The game - which will play out over five installments, the first of which is titled "Tangled Up In Blue" - launches digitally on XBOX One, PS4, iOS, Android and PC on April 18th (that's tomorrow!), and looks to be another homerun from the same studio that gave us the award-winning Walking Dead adventure series.
