It’s Official: M. Night Shyamalan’s Making An UNBREAKABLE Sequel
Warning: This article contains Split spoilers.
M. Night Shyamalan has built an entire career on the art of the twist ending, but the one he delivered in Split was one of his best ever: in the film's final moments, we realized that Split was actually something of a stealth sequel (sidequel?) to Shyamalan's Unbreakable.
In the wake of Split's release, there was much chatter as to whether or not the film might lead into an Unbreakable sequel. Today, we got our answer:

Yup, it's official: M. Night Shyamalan is making a sequel to both Unbreakable and Split. Titled Glass, the film will bring together the lead characters from both of those previous Shyamalan joints (Willis, Jackson, Taylor-Joy and McAvoy are all onboard), and it'll arrive via the good folks at Blumhouse on January 18th, 2019.
I don't suppose there's anything else to say here except: holy shit.
