Tonight, select Alamo Drafthouse locations will be screening Risk, the latest documentary from powerhouse filmmaker Laura Poitras, and will accompany the screenings with a special live-streamed Q&A. 

Those of you who saw Citizenfour already know that Poitras' latest - a documentary about controversial Wikileaks founder Julian Assange - is a film worth being excited about. If you haven't already seen Citizenfour (tsk-tsk), here's a trailer: 

Poitras apparently had incredible access to Assange over the course of filming Risk, a fact that led to a number of...well, let's call them interesting encounters. For instance, the time Lady Gaga showed up to interview Assange for five hours:

That's...very odd!

Anyway, we're expecting Risk to be a surreal, fascinating viewing experience, and can't wait to check it out.
