Watch Adam Scott And Craig Robinson Take On The Paranormal In GHOSTED

The first trailer for FOX's new comedy is here, and it looks pretty solid!

Paranormal comedies always sound like a fun idea, but how often do they really work? For every Ghostbusters there seem to be a half-dozen R.I.P.D.s, and - given that paranormal comedies tend to employ a fair amount of elaborate (read: very pricey) special effects - that must make Hollywood a little gun-shy.

Enter: Ghosted, a new series from FOX starring Craig Robinson and Adam Scott. The show, due to launch on the network later this year, definitely looks pricey...but it also looks very funny, and on our end, that's really all that matters.

See what you think.

That looks pretty good, right? A little bit Ghostbusters, a little bit Men In Black, maybe a smidge of This Is The End? The production values look solid, this trailer's jokes work, and the chemistry between Scott and Robinson is undeniable. This looks like paranormal comedy done right.

Here's a plot synopsis via Variety, in case any of the above was unclear:

Ghosted follows a cynical skeptic and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal who are recruited by The Bureau Underground to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles, all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race."

Your mileage may vary, but I am way into this and will absolutely be checking Ghosted out when it hits FOX later this fall. How 'bout you guys?
