Drunk Uncle Makes His Last SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Appearance

He’s racist and too touchy, but he’s family.

Last night’s SNL marked the final shows for longtime cast members Bobby Moynihan and Vanessa Bayer. And while it’s sad to see them go, both definitely went out with a bang. Coincidentally, they both went out with a bang on Weekend Update.

Bayer’s big moment came with another visit from her new and crazy weather reporter, Dawn Lazarus. Bayer’s always been great at coming up with memorable Weekend Update characters, but Dawn’s one of her best and it’s a shame we only got to see her twice:

For Moynihan, the big sendoff was, of course, another Drunk Uncle appearance, this one fueled by more shamelessness than normal thanks to the election of Donald Trump:

You never know. We may see another surprise Drunk Uncle appearance in the future, but for now, the safe bet is that this is it for the character. We’ll miss you, Drunk Uncle. But please stop touching our face.
