What’s Dunkirk even about, then? Beats me, even as BMD’s resident Nolan guy, but it definitely looks gorgeous. Case in point, this short new trailer that actually does a pretty good job of selling the action:
War! Bombs! Practical effects! Lots of young men who will probably die! Sounds like a perfect entry in to the Nolan-third-weekend-in-July oeuvre. Though to be fair, it also sounds a whole lot less bleak than War for the Planet of the Apes. What a fun summer!
