SDCC 2017: Buckle Up For The First READY PLAYER ONE Trailer
Well, this looks incredible.
Straight out of SDCC, here's the very first trailer for Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One. It's pretty damn impressive!
Based on the novel of the same name from Ernie Cline, Ready Player One looks like sensory overload: everything's in motion, pop culture figures are brushing shoulders everywhere you look, the chase sequences on display here (most of which come from the film's opening sequence, which involves a race through the streets of an Oasis-based Manhattan) look frenetic and wildly over-the-top. I've watched this trailer three times and I'm certain I've only absorbed a third of it.
Ready Player One arrives on March 30th. What do you guys think of this first look? Into it or not so much? Sound off below.
