Matt Damon Gets His Hands Dirty In The Latest SUBURBICON Trailer

Talented director. Super talented cast. Script by the Coen Brothers. We're in.

Look, if someone tells you Suburbicon is a dark comedy written by the Coen Brothers, directed by George Clooney, and starring Julianne Moore, Matt Damon, Oscar Isaac, and True Detective's Glenn Fleshler, do you even need to see a trailer? They might as well just call this thing Mandatory Viewing.

Some will need convincing, I suppose. For them, there's a brand-new trailer.

This looks dark, funny, and will probably be a bit more violent than any of us are expecting. Right up our alley, in other words! In case any of the above isn't clear, here's an official synopsis:

"Suburbicon is a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns… the perfect place to raise a family, and in the summer of 1959, the Lodge family is doing just that. But the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as husband and father Gardner Lodge (Matt Damon) must navigate the town’s dark underbelly of betrayal, deceit, and violence."

Flustered-and-Flailing Matt Damon is possibly my favorite Matt Damon (see also: Steven Soderbergh's The Informant!), so I'm extremely excited to see Gardner Lodge get in way over his head. You guys hyped for this one, as well, or not so much? Sound off below.
