DOWNSIZING Gets A Delightful New Trailer
If you're like me and you somehow missed the idea behind Alexander Payne's Downsizing (nearly three whole years ago!), you're in for a treat. I won't say anything else until you've seen the trailer. Take a look:
Well that's neat. Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Hong Chau, Christoph Waltz, Bruce Willis, Laura Dern, Neil Patrick Harris, Alec Baldwin, esteemed character actress Margo Martindale and God knows who else, in a movie where shrinking people down is common science and a solution to overpopulation, from the guy who made Nebraska. Yes. Yes please. Thank you.
Reviews out of the Venice Film Festival have been pretty great. While most people will have to wait until December 22nd to watch it in "reglear theaters," all you Fantastic Fest folks can catch it on closing night.
