TRAGEDY GIRLS Gets A Bloody Good First Trailer

RT if you agree.

At long last, we've finally got the first trailer for Tyler MacIntyre's Tragedy Girls, which is headed to both the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival and LA's Screamfest this year. We've been hearing good things about this one for some time, and...well, the trailer's pretty damn strong.

Let's take a look.

So, you've got a little Heathers in there (okay, a lot of Heathers in there), a little Scream, maybe a little Ingrid Goes West. Tragedy Girls looks sharp, timely and slickly executed (no pun intended). We're into it!

Here's an official plot synopsis:

"Best friends Sadie and McKayla are on a mission to boost their social media fandom as amateur crime reporters hot on the trail of a deranged local serial killer. After they manage to capture the killer and secretly hold him hostage, they realize the best way to up get scoops on future victims would be to, you know, murder people themselves. As the @TragedyGirls become an overnight sensation and panic grips their small town, can their friendship survive the strain of national stardom? Will they get caught? Will their accounts get verified?"

According to the press release we received, everyone who doesn't get a chance to see Tragedy Girls when it hits Screamfest and the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival will get their chance to see the film when it hits theaters on October 20th. We're hyped to see it, how about you folks?
