Surprise: Mondo’s Got A New Olly Moss DIE HARD Poster

"Hang out on Twitter, wait for the sale announcement to go live, have a few laughs..."

Disclosure: Mondo and BMD are both owned by the Alamo Drafthouse.

It's been a long, long time since we've seen a new Olly Moss Mondo poster, but today that drought comes to an end...and in a most spectacular fashion. I'm gonna get out of this thing's way and let it have its way with your eyeballs.

Die Hard by Olly Moss
24"x36" Screen Print / $50 Edition Of 425
Printed by D&L Screenprinting

What a great image. Like all of Moss' best stuff, it took me just a few seconds to see both "sides" on this one, and now I can't stop looking at it. Look at the little John McClane! This thing is excellent, and sure to go fast.

We'll get to the drop details in a minute, but first: Moss' Die Hard isn't the only Mondo print dropping this week. The crew's also got a brand-new Mouse Guard print, and has this to say about the piece:

"We'll also have a great poster available by David Petersen for MOUSE GUARD, one of our favorite ongoing comic series published by Archaia, an imprint of BOOM! Studios. We're huge fans of the world David has created and could not be more excited about partnering up to create new posters for the world of Mouse Guard, starting with this first poster for FALL 1152. The Regular version will be available on our website while the Variant version will be available at BOOM! Studios' booth (#1828) this weekend at New York City Comic Con."

Here's what those versions look like:

Mouse Guard (Fall 1152) by David Petersen
24"x36" Screen Print / $45 Edition Of 250
Printed by D&L Screenprinting

Mouse Guard (Fall 1152) Variant by David Petersen
24"x36" Screen Print / $65 Edition Of 175
Printed by D&L Screenprinting
Available at BOOM! Studios (Booth #1828) at NYCC

So, like it says above: Olly Moss' Die Hard and David Petersen's Mouse Guard (regular edition) will both go on sale via Mondo's website at a random time tomorrow, while the variant edition of Petersen's Mouse Guard print will be available this week at NYCC. For those of you gunning for either of the former, my recommendation is to clear your schedule and plan on exercising some serious Paypal Fu in order to pick those up before they sell out.

Good luck out there tomorrow, everyone. We're all gonna need it.
