Thoroughbreds absolutely crushed audiences at Fantastic Fest. A pitch black comedy where an upper crust high school girl (Anya Taylor-Joy) and the creepy childhood friend she's been forced to hang out with (Olivia Cooke) plot to kill the princess' wicked stepfather (Paul Sparks) with the help of a local loser (the late, great Anton Yelchin), Cory Finley's debut is bitingly sharp-witted, and more than a little disturbing. 

Now, Focus Features has released a quick red band trailer for your (dis)pleasure. Warning: mucho F-words are spit in the first few seconds (so it ain't safe for work):

We can't wait for this movie to drop and see what you guys think. If the huge laughs and gasps it elicited at Fantastic Fest are any indication, Thoroughbreds has "sleeper hit" written all over it. 

Finley's film hits theaters March 9, 2018.
