VENOM Has Started Production And Offers A Photo As (Kind Of) Proof

Or it could just be three dudes hanging out.

Sometimes life surprises you. The case of Venom offers a great example. A year ago, nothing could convince me I’d be excited about a Venom film. Add Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, however, and I at least have to be curious now. Goddamn it.

So while I’m not saying I’m super pumped for Venom, I also can’t write it off. Along with Hardy, you have Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate and Riz Ahmed. Sure, they can all do garbage for a paycheck, but that’s a pretty strange cast for just another awful CG-ridden comic book movie.

In any case, the thing has started production, and to celebrate, the official Venom Twitter account put out the following photo:

Er, well plenty of time to get excited later. This is just a photo of dudes on a set. But hey, at least this makes the chances that this is all a big prank less likely.
