WATCH: An Urban Legend Gets Demolished In TWISTED

This is one helluva short film.

If you've been reading BMD long enough, you may be familiar with the name Jay Cheel. He's the guy who directed How To Build A Time Machine, one of our favorite docs of the past few years, and today we're excited to share another of Cheel's efforts: a short film by the name of Twisted.

Here's a plot synopsis:

"In 1996, an urban legend was born when the Can-View Drive-In was hit by a tornado during a screening of the movie Twister. The story spread throughout town and the unbelievable event was covered by national media. But what's most amazing is ... it might not have happened."

This short screened at Fantastic Fest all the way back in 2016, so some of you may have already seen it. For everyone else, set aside the next 15 minutes or so and give this one a whirl. It's a fascinating watch, and comes with our highest recommendation.
