Trailer For THE CURED Promises To Relieve Your Zombie Fatigue

As of right now, I'm not entirely sure if I can sit through another zombie movie. Even last year's The Girl With All the Gifts - a film that was technically accomplished in nearly every aspect - kind of bored me to tears simply due to the fact that I'm having trouble mustering up any sort of enthusiasm for another undead romp. People argue about whether "superhero fatiugue" is real or not, but I'm here to assure you "zombie fatigue" is a true motherfucker. 

That said, the latest trip down Romero Avenue - the Irish outbreak pictue The Cured - looks to be sporting solid turns from both Ellen Page (Juno) and Sam Keeley (This Must Be the Place). Whether or not this first time feature from writer/director David Freyne actually delivers on the ...28 Days Later vibes its trailer owns is another story entirely.

What happens when the undead return to life? Can Page help keep my attention for 93 minutes of flesh-eating mayhem? We'll just have to see when the movie hits VOD and theaters on February 23rd.
