The Super Bowl ad for Avengers: Infinity War just dropped. It’s colorful, filled with characters we love (though not nearly all of them), and has a remarkably somber tone. Check it out:
Look, let’s be honest. There’s not a lot of new stuff here. The biggest bit of new business is Cap’s new shield which looks a little stupid to me. I’m super excited for this film, so don’t take my disdain over that one new detail to mean I’m all bummed out. This movie is going to be wild, dumbass shield or no.
Man, between just this and Black Panther, we’re really getting spoiled by Marvel this year. I can’t wait, if only because I don’t think every Avenger is walking away from this one.
