Dreams Do (Kinda) Come True: Nicolas Cage To Finally Play Superman

One of the downsides to all the damn television out there is a rising number of shows that look great but perhaps not great enough to replace something else off your viewing list. For me, one of those shows is Teen Titans GO!, which seems like a lot of fun.

Luckily, the show is getting a movie: Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, and while the focus will remain on the core group - Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy - it will also include Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.

Now we know who will offer voices for these characters. A singer named Halsey will be Wonder Woman, a rapper named Lil Yachty will play Green Lantern, and a renowned spoon-player named Nicolas Cage will play Superman.

That’s right, after all these years, Nicolas Cage will finally fulfill his dream of playing the Man of Steel. He came close way back in 1998, but now, thanks to the power of animation, it’s finally going to happen.

Look, 2018 is going to be a great year for Nicolas Cage. Between this and Mandy, I couldn’t be happier for him. Teen Titans GO! is a super goofy show, so hopefully they let Cage get weird with it.
