The First Poster For DC’s SHAZAM! Just Arrived
Even as we speak, David Sandberg is hard at work on an adaptation of DC's Shazam. Starring (checks notes) Zachary Levi in the titular role, Shazam tells the story of a boy who's able to transform into an adult superhero simply by uttering his catchphrase, which is either "Shazam" or "Dear God in Heaven please turn me into Chuck" (you'll have to see the movie to find out).
Over the past few weeks, photos have leaked from Sandberg's Shazam set showing off Levi in his costume, and they've looked pretty good! Everything seems to be in its right place, Levi looks reasonably dashing in the suit, and so on. We're still waiting on an official reveal of Levi in the spandex, but for now, here's the film's first official poster.
Nothing too exciting, I suppose. You've got some clouds, a title, a little DC logo up top to remind you to keep your expectations firmly in check. There's really not much to add here, but on the off chance that you've been climbing the walls with anticipation over the Shazam logo reveal, well, today's your lucky day.
Stay tuned for more on Shazam as it becomes available. We're thinking we'll have a good look at Levi in the suit sooner rather than later.
