Comedy Central Is Gonna Roast Bruce Willis

But can Bruce Willis stay awake through the entire ceremony?

In the past, Comedy Central has roasted such luminaries as Justin Bieber, Donald Trump, William Shatner, Charlie Sheen and - in a regrettably vicious special that only aired once - Chevy Chase. Their next target? None other than Death Wish star Bruce Willis.

Willis, a once highly-bankable box office star who has inexplicably spent the past few years appearing in low-rent projects like Marauders, Once Upon A Time In Venice, and something called First Kill, seems like the perfect target for a roast: he's infamous for being kind of a dick, his career is in full "Autopilot" mode, and - last, but certainly not least - he once appeared in a commercial for Seagram's wine coolers that really must be seen to be believed.

Hit me, fellas!

Says Willis about the Roast:

“This ain’t the first time I’ll be tied to a chair and held hostage by a group of humorless assholes for a couple hours."

According to Variety, the Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis will happen this summer in Los Angeles, and will be shown on Comedy Central shortly thereafter. We're already setting our DVRs.
