IT: CHAPTER TWO Finds Its Grown-Up Ben Hanscom

Mr. Jay Ryan is headed into The Pipe!

Deadline just made it official: Jay Ryan - the New Zealand actor best known for his work in Jane Campion's Top of The Lake and Hulu's Mary Kills People - has just been cast as the grown-up Ben Hanscom in Andy Muschietti's highly-anticipated It: Chapter Two. As you can see, our beloved little butterball went and got insanely hot. Good for him.

For those keeping score at home, this means all but one of the grown-up Losers' Club has been cast, bringing the current lineup to: Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), James McAvoy ("Stuttering" Bill Denbrough), Bill Hader (Richie "Trashmouth" Tozier), James Ransone (Eddie "The Asthmatic" Kaspbrak) and - last, but certainly not least, except perhaps in terms of screentime - Andy Bean as Stan "The Man" Uris. The only character who doesn't yet have an adult counterpart is Mike Hanlon, though you already know how we feel about that situation.

No worries, though: with It: Chapter Two set to go in front of cameras in just a few months, we're guessing that role will be filled any day now. For the time being: what do you think of the team Muschietti and company have assembled thus far? You into it? Not so much? Sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned for more on It: Chapter Two as it becomes available.
