Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Will Score Jonah Hill’s MID90s

Jonah Hill and Nine Inch Nails: two great tastes that taste great together.

In July, it was announced that Jonah Hill will make his directorial debut with the coming-of-age tale Mid90s. Well, today we have even more great news, especially for those who survived the mid-90s by listening to Nine Inch Nails: Hill's film will feature an original score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

In 2011, Reznor and Ross (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl) claimed the Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Social Network and they've been working pretty steadily in the industry ever since. Having already provided the soundtrack to the lives of many teens who grew up in the '90s, the duo should have no problem tapping into the right atmosphere.

Mid90s, which is also written by Jonah Hill, follows thirteen-year-old Stevie, who falls in with a group of skateboarders in 90s-era LA.

The film stars Sunny Suljic, Lucas Hedges, and Na-kel Smith and will be released by A24 on October 19, 2018. Stay tuned for further Mid90s updates as they roll in!
