Grab The Whiskey: The New BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE Trailer Is Here

In which Drew Goddard's latest continues to look excellent.

We've been flat-out hyped about Drew Goddard's Bad Times at The El Royale since April, when we got our very first look at the film at CinemaCon. A twisty, creepy, sexy mystery set inside a bizarro hotel, starring a murderer's row of talent (including Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeff Bridges and Nick Offerman), from the guy who directed Cabin in The Woods? How could we not be excited about this?

Everything we've seen and heard about Bad Times at The El Royale in the time since has only excited us more, and today we've got an excellent new trailer to pour over...if, indeed, that's something you want to do.

More on that in a moment. For now, let's take a look.

Real talk: I've watched this trailer once, and I won't be watching it again. I've remained unspoiled on Bad Times at The El Royale up to this point, and I intend to keep it that way until the goddamn thing arrives in October, thank you very much (while watching this, my eye caught on a few particularly intriguing images that I will spend no time thinking about or trying to contextualize in the days ahead, you can't make me).

Here's what we do know about the film's plot:

"Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at a run-down hotel in Lake Tahoe in 1960s California. Over the course of a fateful night, they all get one last shot at redemption before everything goes wrong."

Good enough for me. Say no more. We'll be checking in to Bad Times at The El Royale on Oct. 12th.

How 'bout you?
