A Horrifying New HALLOWEEN Trailer Just Slashed Its Way Online

Fantastic Fest 2018's opening night film looks killer.

Have you ordered your copy of Birth.Movies.Death.'s Halloween issue yet? It's jam-packed with exclusive interviews, excellent artwork, and deep-dives into the history of John Carpenter's 1978 classic! Get yours here.

At long last, the second trailer for David Gordon Green's Halloween has arrived. Unsuprisingly, this movie continues to look awesome.

I'll just get out of its way and let it do its thing.

Hell. Yes.

Love the opening scene of Myers strolling amongst trick'r'treaters, love how badass Jamie Lee Curtis looks here ("So I can kill him"), love the shots of Myers looming in the background of shots. We have zero complaints. It really looks like Green and company nailed this thing, doesn't it?

If you haven't been paying attention, here's an official plot synopsis:

"It's been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. She now faces a terrifying showdown when Michael returns to Haddonfield, Ill. -- but this time, Laurie is ready for him."

As you surely know by now, Halloween will screen at this year's Toronto Film Festival, before heading down to Austin to headline this year's Fantastic Fest. We love everything we've seen from it so far and are beyond hyped to get a look at it - how 'bout you folks? Sound off in the comments below.

Halloween hits theaters on October 19th, just in time for...well, you know.
