Rebecca Romijn Will Headline Fangoria’s SATANIC PANIC

In which Chelsea Stardust's horror comedy gains a cast.

A while back, we brought you word on Satanic Panic, the next film from our friends over at Fangoria. Written by Grady Hendrix (from a story by Hendrix and Mohawk's Ted Geoghegan) and directed by relative newcomer Chelsea Stardust, the film's a horror-comedy with (as its title suggests) a pleasingly satanic edge: according to the logline, Satanic Panic will tell the story of "a pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope who has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice."

Sounds right up our alley! And now it's got a cast. According to Deadline, Stardust's film has just hired...well, here, I'll let them tell you:

"Newcomer Hayley Griffith will co-star opposite [Rebecca] Romijn with Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day), Arden Myrin (Insatiable), Jerry O’Connell (Carter), AJ Bowen (The Sacrament), Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever), Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords Of Salem), Hannah Stocking (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween), Michael Polish (Some Kind Of Hate), Whitney Moore (House Of Demons) and Skeeta Jenkins (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich) rounding out the supporting cast."

Deadline goes on to explain that Griffith will be playing the pizza delivery girl, while Romijn will be playing the leader of the satanic cult she runs afoul of. That's an intriguing bit of casting!

Nothing further to report on Satanic Panic at this time, but seems like it's coming along nicely. We'll keep you informed as further updates roll in.
