OPEN THREAD: What’s Your Pick For The Best Horror Film Of 2018?

It's Halloween, a time for sharing horror recommendations with others.

All things considered, 2018's been an outstanding year for horror movies.

For whatever reason, the Movie Gods saw fit to make this year an exceptionally good one for horror fans, and come December it's gonna be difficult figuring out which of these belong on our year-end top ten lists. John Krasinski's A Quiet Place. Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria remake. Demián Rugna's Terrified. David Gordon Green's Halloween. Matthew Holness' Possum. Ari Aster's Hereditary. That's half a dozen strong horror movies, right off the top of my head, and I'm certain I've forgotten plenty.

But you don't need to worry about that! We're not here today to talk about our pick for the year's best horror film. We wanna hear what your picks are. One of the ones mentioned above? Something we've forgotten? Something obscure we've maybe never heard of? Whatever the case may be, fill us in via the comments section below, and don't be shy about attaching a trailer, particularly if you're choosing a film the rest of us probably haven't heard of. That's just being considerate to your fellow BMD readers.
