WATCH: Double Trouble: A Brief History of Doppelgängers in Cinema

Let's take a look back at some of cinema's other famous doubles.

This weekend, Jordan Peele's Us stormed into theaters to the tune of $70M, sending large swaths of the internet down easter-egg lined rabbit holes and straight into Fan Theory territory. Everyone's got an opinion on Peele's latest (the consensus is largely positive, though some viewers aren't thrilled with that third act), and everyone's got doubles on the brain.

If you caught Us at an Alamo Drafthouse, you probably saw the video below, an examination of cinema's greatest doppelgängers assembled by the awesome Alamo Drafthouse video department. We received word that some viewers wanted to watch the clip again, so we've happily made it available for you to watch now, online, in the privacy of your own home, with your shadow double looming over you somewhere in the background.

Take a look, see what you think, and stay tuned for more awesome pre-show content from our friends in the video department. They really are doing industry-best work right now, and we're not just saying that because we're co-partnered with 'em on this thing.
