Beep, Beep: The New IT: CHAPTER TWO Trailer Has Arrived

This just keeps looking better and better.

Andy Muschietti's It: Chapter Two is a major part of BMD Magazine's Fall Horror Issue (Dat Boi Pennywise even made the cover!). If you haven't ordered yours already, we suggest doing that now...before it's too late.

Last night, in a SDCC Preview Night event hosted by Conan O'Brien and featuring the entire adult cast of the film, Warner Bros. revealed a brand-new trailer for It: Chapter Two. People in the room described it using such terms as "holy shit" and "terrifying", but the rest of us chumps had to wait until today to see it for ourselves.

Having now seen the new It: Chapter Two trailer: "holy shit" and "terrifying" is the correct take.

See? Holy shit and terrifying. What more could you ask for?

An official plot synopsis? Sure, we can do that:

"In the sleepy town of Derry, the evil clown Pennywise returns 27 years later to torment the grown-up members of the Losers' Club, who have long since drifted apart from one another."

We are bursting at the seams with curiosity about this movie. How faithful to the source material will Muschietti and company be? Certain signs point to "VERY faithful", but does that mean we're gonna get a look at Pennywise's real form? Precisely how weird are things going to get in that third act? Are we gonna see Maturin, the giant turtle? We know the entire cast of kids from the original will be back, but how many flashbacks are we talking about here? It: Chapter Two is rumored to be more "brutal" than the first film, but what will that mean in practice? More blood? More kills? Is someone actually going to use the phrase "the Ritual of Chüd" in this movie?

We couldn't be excited to learn the answers to all of these questions, and many more. Good thing, then, that It: Chapter Two is mere weeks away from hitting theaters. It'll be here on September 6th, and we'll be there on opening night. How about you? Sound off in the comments below, and stay tuned for more on this one in the weeks ahead.
