New SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK Trailer Is All About That Jangly Man

Back to Scary Stories… there have been a bunch of trailers for this film already, but this one is special because it introduces us to the film’s original creation, The Jangly Man, who appears to be the prime antagonist among all the already-scary creepies from the books.

I have a lot of high hopes for this one. Some of that comes from what’s being sold in these trailers, but a whole lot is sheer faith in André Øvredal. We’ll see how it all comes together very soon. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark hits theaters August 9.
