We Are Losing Our Minds Over This Insane TWIN PEAKS Boxed Set

This thing has everything. Like, EVERYTHING. And then even MORE things.

Earlier today, David Lynch set off a Twin Peaks: The Return - Episode 8-sized bomb on Twitter by tweeting out the following:

"What the hell is that?" everyone wondered. Now, thanks to the good folks over at Welcome to Twin Peaks, we have some answers: this is the Twin Peaks: From Z to A collection, a sprawling and intricate new boxed set arriving this December. Does right what it says on the tin, collecting up all three seasons of Twin Peaks, 1992's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and The Missing Pieces, all the special features from Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery (released in 2014) as well as the special features included on Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series (released after The Return's run in 2017). Good lord.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg! Says Welcome to Twin Peaks:

"TWIN PEAKS: FROM Z TO A will be housed in packaging with an exterior adorned by a wraparound vista of haunting and majestic Douglas Fir trees. Once opened, a depiction of the infamous Red Room is revealed with its brown and crème chevron floor and brilliant red curtains. Sitting in front of the red curtain will be an exclusive die-cut acrylic figure of Laura Palmer kissing Special Agent Dale Cooper. This acrylic figure comes inside a plastic display holder held in place by magnets.

Fans will have the option of leaving the figure in place inside The Red Room environment or removing and displaying it elsewhere. The plastic holder can also serve as an easel to display individual images from The Red Room Gallery, a curated set of 5” x 5” printed cards depicting memorable moments in The Red Room. Each package will also contain an individually numbered collectible certificate."

Holy sweet Jesus and sweet baby Jesus.

Incredibly, that's not all: on top of everything mentioned above, new special features are being included on the set, including an extensive collection of behind-the-scenes footage shot during the making of Twin Peaks: The Return, a brand new joint interview between Kyle MacLachlan and Sheryl Lee, a compilation of "full, unedited" Roadhouse musical performances from The Return, and - last but certainly not least! - 4K transfers of three key Twin Peaks episodes: the 1990 Twin Peaks pilot, its international version and the legendary eighth episode of Twin Peaks: The Return. According to Welcome to Twin Peaks, there's even more brand-new special features being planned for these (recommendation: sign up for their newsletter so you'll know what's what the moment these things get announced).

UPDATE: Check it out - now there's a look at the interior.

The estimated street date on this one is December 10th, 2019, which means you have between now and then to save up whatever ungodly (but totally justifiable) amount of money they're gonna be asking for this thing. You're gonna want to have that scratch handy: only 25,000 of these sets are being produced, and we're guessing they're gonna go quick.

Stay tuned for more on this wildly exciting release as further updates become available, and do head over to Welcome to Twin Peaks to read more about it in the meantime.
