THE GENTLEMEN Trailer Is A Confusing Blast

It seems fashionable to dislike Guy Ritchie these days, and I honestly can’t blame anyone who carries on with that opinion. While the director has clearly moved on to lucrative projects over interesting ones, a part of me still longs for the hyperactive, immature crime filmmaker we (well, some of us) fell in love with in the first place.

The Gentlemen appears to be a movie made for folks like that. Check out the trailer below:

Accents hit super hard, check. Actors in wacky outfits, check. A plot that is overly complicated but features lots of violence, check. It’s all here. I have absolutely no idea what is happening in this trailer, but I had a ton of fun watching it.

As of now, the idea is for this to come out January 24, which should plop a nice dollop of fun smack dab in the middle of a drab winter (there is going to be a winter this year, right?). I, for one, cannot wait. Two tickets for The King's M... er, The Gentlemen, please!
