Conan O’Brien Has Joined The Cast Of DEATH STRANDING

No, seriously.

We're mere weeks away from the release of Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, which is undoubtedly the most highly-anticipated game of the year. Given the secrecy surrounding the title, our knowledge of the game is still somewhat limited, but one thing we do know is that the title is packed to the rafters with celebrities: Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro, Margaret Qualley, Nicolas Winding Refn all appear in Kojima's latest opus, while players will control a character played by Norman Reedus. Celebrity cameos aren't unheard of in the video game industry, but this one may have more per capita than any other title in recent memory.

And now they've added another big name to the lineup.

This, as you can see, is Conan O'Brien visiting Hideo Kojima's Kojima Productions, where the talk show host was given an exclusive sneak peek at the game (and Kojima's toy collection, which may or may not include Ultraman's vibrator) before being asked if he'd like to appear in it. On the surface this seems like it could just be a very elaborate bit, but no - according to Kojima himself, Conan will appear in the game.

We didn't need another reason to pick up Death Stranding when it arrives, but yes, this will do nicely. We can't wait to find out how weird (and, yes, probably more than a little impenetrable) this game is when it hits stores on November 8th. How 'bout y'all? You looking forward to Death Stranding as much as we are? Happy to see Conan involved? Sound off in the comments below.
