Movies really come and go willy-nilly these days. As such, some can easily fly by without ever getting noticed, even if they have a star-studded cast.
For instance, Three Christs, which just dropped a trailer today. This film boasts all kinds of famous people and beloved actors. Richard Gere, Walton Goggins, Bradley Whitford, Peter Dinklage, Stephen Root… this is loaded. And at least three of them are doing different versions of Oscar-bait acting. On top of that, they all think they’re Jesus Christ and Richard Gere plays a guy who puts them all in a room to battle it out.
You don’t have to take my word for it either:
There are three Christs, here. Can't argue that. In pop culture terms, this means Christ has the Pope outnumbered by one unless they can stop all their bickering and make peace with the Young Pope.
Three Christs greets the world in theaters and VOD January 10. Not December 25.
