Meet Some Of The Mavericks From TOP GUN: MAVERICK*
The good folks at Paramount, perhaps having noticed Universal's ongoing marketing blitzkrieg for Justin Lin's highly-anticipated F9 (the movie formerly known as Fast & Furious 9), have decided to toot their own horn a bit this morning, dropping a raft of new Top Gun: Maverick character posters on us.
Well, actually, these aren't character posters, per se. They're more like character stills, accompanied by character names, the names of the actors playing said characters, and literally no further information. If you were hoping for elaborate character biographies on top of your character stills, this post will not be for you. If, however, you would like to see a photo of Miles Teller with a serial killer mustache, I have good news.

You have, of course, noted by now that Tom Cruise is not in this batch of character photos. That's because everyone knows Tom Cruise is in Top Gun: Maverick. Everyone knows who Tom Cruise is, period, he didn't need the attention (we added the above pic, anyway, just for funsies). These other folks, though? Some will live, some will die, only one (or maybe more, we don't know) will achieve the status of Top Gun: Maverick by the end of Top Gun: Maverick.
A new Top Gun: Maverick trailer is expected to roll out during this weekend's Super Bowl. Stay tuned for that, and more on the film as we draw ever closer to Top Gun: Maverick's June 26th arrival in theaters.
