Chris Pratt Says JURASSIC WORLD 3 Will Be The AVENGERS: ENDGAME Of JURASSIC PARK Movies

You heard it here first: Tony Stark will die in JURASSIC WORLD 3.

You may have forgotten, what with all the other big franchise shenanigans going on these days, that a third Jurassic World movie is headed our way, with Colin Trevorrow returning to write/direct and a whole slew of Jurassic franchise all-stars slated to return, including Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Chris Pratt. That's fine, these things happen.

If you did forget, however, a recent interview between Pratt and Ellen Degeneres offers a sobering reminder. Asked whether or not this will serve as the end to Universal's long-running dino franchise, Pratt says (as quoted by The Playlist):

“This feels like it. I’m not allowed to say anything…It’s got everybody. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. I know all the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back. It’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together for Marvel.”

Listen, that's all well and good, but let's get down to brass tacks: when will Dennis Nedry re-enter the picture? Yes, yes - Wayne Knight's character seemingly met a most gruesome end, mid-tropical storm, during the first Jurassic Park, but who's to say he couldn't have survived? If they're really gonna Avengers: Endgame this thing, I demand the return of Dennis Nedry, even if it means cloning another Nedry from the original Nedry's skeleton. If I can't get dinosaurs with machine guns, that's my next best offer.

Here's a question: where are y'all at on these new Jurassic Park movies? Team BMD is all over the map in terms of a response to these things, but I'm curious to hear how the BMD readership feels about 'em: did you enjoy Jurassic World? How about Fallen Kingdom? Are you excited for Trevorrow's return to this trilogy, following J.A. Bayona's work on the second one? Sound off below, and stay tuned for more on Jurassic World 3, whatever it ends up being called, between now and the film's June 11th, 2021 arrival in theaters.
