Scoot McNairy & Bradley Whitford Join Karyn Kusama’s DESTROYER

And they're bringing an ape with them, too!

Anticipation for Karyn Kusama's Destroyer is at a fever pitch here at BMD.

First, the feature follow-up from the Invitation director - which revolves around a young LAPD cop being placed undercover with a desert cult - signed Nicole Kidman to star. Then, they added Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya) and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) to their genre party.

Now, Bradley Whitford (Get Out), Scott McNairy (Godless), and Toby Kebbel (War For the Planet of the Apes) have come aboard the project, which begins shooting next week in Los Angeles. This writer's talked to a few folks who've read the script for Destroyer, and its been described as Kusama's "70s existential cop drama." So, sign us the fuck up.

No release date has been set for the film as of yet, but we're definitely going to keep writing about every little detail until we're blue in the face.
