LA: Get Your Tickets For The Capetown Film Festival Today!
I have to admit I'm jealous of the festival Geoff Boucher, formerly of the LA Times now at EW, has put together here in LA. Not only is he screening really great movies, he's put together a dream list of guests. The guy has Kurt Russell appearing at a screening of Escape From New York! I have some knowledge of what it's like to get Kurt to come to a screening, and I can tell you it is beyond rare that he agrees. Well done, Geoff.
If you're in LA, or will be in LA from April 30th to May 6th, you should consider hitting the ticket site to try and grab some for yourself. I'll be at a lot, if not all, of these screenings, and it would be cool to see you there. Here's the schedule of the Capetown Festival:
