STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS - THE LOST MISSIONS Gets A Big Trailer

Could this be worth catching up on?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is getting a final, thirteen-episode season on Netflix, and now that season has an almost three-minute long trailer to get fans excited and possibly win over new recruits. For the most part (any non-Anakin part), it looks pretty good. Not good enough that I'm likely to watch the whole thing, but good enough that I can understand when people get enthusiastic about this show, which looked so, so horrible when it first came out but seems to have grown into something unique and maybe even fun.

The problem, of course, is that the show's time frame suffers from extreme prequel-itis. Whatever happens must adhere to the status quo presented in Episode III. Some of the snippets seen here appear to overcome that limitation somewhat. The Yoda stuff is especially intriguing. I'll leave it to the show's fans to decide, but maybe Star Wars: The Clone Wars will go out with a bang after all.

The final season comes to Netflix on March 7. You will be able to binge-watch it especially fast. Unless you are watching the entire series. That might take some time.
