A surprisingly funny look at the new Jim Jarmusch film.
Only Lovers Left Alive is apparently really good, not just as a Jim Jarmusch film but as a cool vampire film as well. I normally don't go in much for the latter, so I'm especially happy to hear that bit.
This new trailer offers a better idea of this film's appeal. Sure, everything is dark and moody, but it's also very funny. In fact, jokes punctuate nearly every segment almost like this were a preview for The Other Woman or something. People have mentioned the film's humor, but now we can see it on display. For free. Before we see the movie. It helps us decide if we want to watch it or not! What a deal. This trailer business is swell.
Only Lovers Left Alive opens April 11. That is a bit sooner than I thought. Cause to celebrate!
