I really wanted to review FX's The Strain - the vampire apocalypse series from Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan and Carlton Cuse - for BAD, and I regret that I haven't had the time to give this show the coverage it deserves. It's an incredibly fun, ballsy, unabashed take on an otherwise stale genre, and it feels like the best, bloodiest kind of pulp.
