Looks like everyone loved Neighbors enough for a sequel to happen. That makes sense considering I’ve yet to come across someone who disliked the film. But it kind of doesn’t make sense when you take the first film’s ending into account.
But movies don’t care about that! According to Movies.com, this new film will be all about Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne getting Zac Efron to help them get rid of their new neighbors. Do I even have to type this out? Sorority girls. I wish it were nuns.
Obviously, Rogen Byrne, and Efron are returning. Director Nicholas Stoller is returning as well. Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Andrew Jay Cohen, and Brendan O’Brien will write the film. I said everyone was coming back in the headline, but I lied. So far there’s no mention of Dave Franco. For shame.
Neighbors 2 will come out May 13, 2016.
