Chris Columbus Wishes There Were More HARRY POTTER Movies, Too

There was once a time when the Harry Potter movie series was just okay and not all that awesome. That time is known as the Chris Columbus era. Well, believe it or not, there is one guy out there who wants that era to come back. His name is Chris Columbus.

Columbus spoke with Entertainment Weekly radio (I have no idea) about the subject and said this:

I would love to go back and do another one. Not Fantastic Beasts as much, which I think is going to be amazing, but I would love to do another movie with those three characters — Harry, Hermione, and Ron. I’m just fascinated about what happened to them after the end of the last movie, because then they cut to 18 years ahead. There’s 18 years there of great Harry Potter stories.

I like how he’s all, “Eh, not the Fantastic Beast thing, though.” Instead he wants to explore those juicy, golden years of raising kids and losing hair and doing taxes. Hollywood would probably let him do it, but J.K. Rowling, god bless her, probably would not. Or maybe she would, with like Sam Mendes or something.
