DIRTY GRANDPA Trailer: Can This Be As Bad As It Looks?

There is a universe where all the phony movie trailers that get made as comedy sketches or as viral videos are for real movies. A universe where the studios churn out films that are so profoundly, ridiculously, obviously terrible that it defies all belief. 

We live in that universe. 

That means somewhere, on Earth-117, Funny or Die is running this Dirty Grandpa trailer as a lark, because the Zac Efron and Robert De Niro of their dimension got together to make a comedy video over the course of an afternoon. We live in the universe where these two spent 110 days on set making this trash.

Two things stand out in this trailer: Zac Efron, who had a serious cocaine problem, doing a crack joke and Aubrey Plaza playing a hyper-sexualized woman who... fucks Robert DeNiro? 

Holy crap. 

I'm not sure if this is the kind of movie where I just skip the press screening or the kind of movie where I attend the press screening out of morbid curiosity.
