Rejoice: The First Red Band Trailer For Key & Peele’s KEANU Is Here

This looks great, and also not safe for work.

We, as a nation, are still mourning the loss of Key & Peele from Comedy Central's schedule, but as of today it may be time to put all that grief behind us: the first trailer for Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele's Keanu is here, and it's fantastic.

It wasn't long ago that we got our first look at the film. At the time, Peele described Keanu as "(a satirization of) how pop culture paints masculinity and what it means to be African-American", and that comes through loud and clear in the trailer above.

This is, of course, right in the Key & Peele wheelhouse; deconstructing masculinity and the African-American experience was basically the entire thrust of their Comedy Central series. If the movie's half as good as the show, it'll probably be one of the funniest films of the year.

We'll find out soon enough: Keanu opens on April 29th. Scale of 1-10, how excited are you about that? I'm hovering somewhere around a 56.

UPDATE: There's an equally-great poster, too! Look at it!
