Sorry, But Here’s The New GHOSTBUSTERS Theme Song

Again, very very sorry.

My biggest fear when it comes to Ghostbusters is that it will not be the greatest movie ever made, thereby providing false justification to all the trolls who preemptively spoke out against the film on sexist grounds. That’s going to be a rough day.

Today might supply us with a small preview, however, in the form of this truly awful and embarrassing new version of the theme song by Fall Out Boy and featuring Missy Elliott:

When you heard who would be doing this theme song, I’m sure your imagination tried to get a sense of how bad that might sound. But your imagination was woefully unprepared. This is so bad, it almost makes me nostalgic for the goofy stuff movies would pull back in the ‘90s. That’s not a good thing.

Hopefully this is not indicative of Ghostbusters as a whole. Maybe it works cinematically? Personally, I think they should have gotten this guy:
