Alison Brie To Be A Female Wrestler In Netflix’s GLOW

Between people who like Alison Brie, Orange is the New Black fans, and all those people on my Twitter feed who won’t stop tweeting about wrestling, I imagine folks should be into GLOW, a show about female wrestlers starring Alison Brie and brought to you by the Jenji Kohan, creator of Orange is the New Black.

Brie's casting comes courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, which claims GLOW (standing for “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) will be a ten-episode series that takes place in the world of ‘80s lady wrestling. So expect some gaudy outfits and big hair. Brie will play a struggling actress who suddenly finds herself in this weird, wacky world.

Right now it looks like Brie is the only big name attached, but I doubt that will last long. In the meantime, we can all have some fun picking who else we’d like to see don a goofy outfit and get someone in a suplex.
