I wish I was back on the festival circuit, and it's because of movies like Jackie. Natalie Portman plays Jackie Kennedy in this film by Pablo Larrain, and I keep hearing her performance is next level. The movie itself looks intense as hell - that shot of Jackie showering Jack's blood and brains off after the assassination knocked me back - and I'm really interested in an examination of this fascinating, deep and unusual woman. And I'm kinda rooting for Portman to take home some gold this year. I'm not above getting into the fray!
