Werner Herzog Takes Us Into A Volcano In The First INTO THE INFERNO Trailer

Here, at last, is the first trailer for Werner Herzog's Into The Inferno, which arrives via Netflix on October 28th. It looks pretty awesome, and I mean that in the literal sense.

This isn't the first film Herzog's released this year - he also dropped Lo And Behold back in August, and his Salt And Fire is currently making the festival rounds - but based on the reviews I've read, it sounds like Into The Inferno's the best of the bunch. It certainly looks gorgeous, and my understanding is that it's also surprisingly funny. All of that, in addition to my insatiable love for Herzog narration, makes this one a must-see on my end.

Here's an official plot synopsis:

Werner Herzog and volcanologist Clive Oppenheimer travel the globe and visit volcanoes in Indonesia, Ethiopia and even North Korea in an attempt to understand man's relationship with one of nature's most violent wonders.

As mentioned above, Into The Inferno hits Netflix on October 28th. You guys gonna check it out or what?
