The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Teaser is Here!

What an embarrassment of riches! This morning we got the new teaser poster for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and now we've got a teaser trailer. It's pretty delightful.

While there's much (much) to be said about Toddler Groot and Drax's unwanted hug of comfort, my favorite part is definitely Gamora sprinting across that roof like the badass warrior of my dreams. Girlfriend doesn't need to dance. She can FIGHT.

There's not a lot of plot revealed here, which is as it should be for a teaser trailer. We've got atmosphere and style and beloved characters being fierce and/or adorable, and that's really all we need. 

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5. I can't remember the last time I felt such all-consuming anticipation for a sequel.
