You can tell this will be a fairly classic episode of the padcast because it opens with a ten minute digression about baths vs showers. That sort of nonsense from us is the only guarantee in life.

Once we get done with that, Phil and I jump into the disappointment we felt for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. After kicking its corpse a couple times to make sure it’s dead, we move on to Boo! A Madea Halloween, which Phil didn’t even watch yet still seems to like more than the new Jack Reacher. Listener questions leads us down a somewhat long Shakespeare talk. It’s fun!

Throughout all that, Phil makes astute observations and I laugh a lot. Like always. At one point, I use the words “satisfying viscosity” and Phil made me promise to use it in the headline. That’s how we do it here. (I was tempted to title it “The Satisfying Viscosity of Your Body’s Tears” but chickened out.)
